Michael P. Gannon

Michael P. Gannon was named the 2012 LCC Distinguished Alumnus. Michael received his associate’s degree from Lansing Community College in 1973, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received his bachelor’s degree from Kettering University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. Michael is the son of LCC’s Founding President Philip Gannon and Lois Gannon, and one of three Gannon children to attend LCC.

Michael and his wife Ruth established the Philip and Lois Gannon “Second Chance” Scholarship to honor Michael’s parents and their dedication to education and Lansing Community College.
