James P. Platte Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1995 by the friends and family of James P. Platte, the James P. Platte Memorial Scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in English, the Performing Arts, and Communications at Lansing Community College.

Qualifications

• Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in a Performing Arts, English (Creative Writing, Journalism or Literature), or Communications Program at Lansing Community College,
• Recipients must carry a minimum of 6 credits
• Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Recipients must have already completed 24 credits
• Financial need will be considered
