Frank and Sophia Tegge Scholarship for Business & Finance

In 1964, Frank graduated from Albion College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After the military, he began a lifelong career in Finance, eventually retiring from Wells Fargo. His memberships include Rotary Club of Lansing (where he had served as president), Commanders Club of Michigan (serving as Commander and Chief), MSU University Club, Lansing Country Club, Boy Scouts of America, as well as numerous other organizations. Frank loved to spend time at his lake house and on his boat. He enjoyed reading, particularly fiction and historical books. Frank was also an avid hunter and world traveler. He passed away on December 24, 2020.

Qualifications

• Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in a Business or Finance Program at LCC
• Recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits
• Recipient must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA
• Recipient must reside within the LCC district
• Financial need will be considered
