Brandon James Mitchner Memorial Scholarship

Brandon James Mitchner was born May 27, 1992, in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 2010. He was an entrepreneur and started his own clothing line in 2013. Brandon loved to work out and play basketball. Brandon was a graduate of Lansing Community College in 2014. The Lord called him home on June 29, 2014. His family has created the Brandon James Mitchner Memorial Scholarship to honor his memory and to give back to two communities that were very important to Brandon in his life, by providing financial assistance for Lansing Community College students who have graduated from Grand Ledge High School.

Qualifications

• Recipients may be enrolled in any program at Lansing Community College
• Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester
• Recipients must be in-district residents
• Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Recipients must be graduates of Grand Ledge High School, Eastern High School, Everett High School, Sexton High School or Waverly High School.
• Financial need will be considered
