F. George Hopkins began his LCC career as a business professor in 1959. He was selected in 1966 as the first Dean of the Division of Business and served until his retirement in 1975. He was a graduate of Kent State University and Western Michigan University. As a professional educator with Lansing Community College and the Lansing Public Schools, he contributed greatly to the growth and development of hundreds of students during his career.
