Michael Katalenich Memorial Scholarship

Michael Katalenich grew up in Grand Ledge, Michigan, and graduated from Everett High School. He was involved with the deaf community in Lansing and had several deaf friends he met within that community. The Michael Katalenich Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor his memory and support students enrolled in the Sign Language Interpreter program at Lansing Community College.

Qualifications:

• Recipients shall be enrolled in the SIGN Language Interpreter program at LCC
• Recipients shall have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Recipients shall be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits at LCC
• Financial need will be considered
