Theo Fulton Memorial Scholarship by the Zonta Club of Lansing

January 22, 1922, the Zonta Club of Lansing was the 16th Zonta Club organized. Just think about it, this was just two years after the 19th Amendment was ratified allowing all American Women the right to vote! They’ve been going strong ever since.

The Zonta Club of Lansing, a member of Zonta International whose mission is to “Advance the Status of Women and Girls Both Locally and Globally,” with a Zonta slogan of, “Fair, Square, Every Time, Everywhere!

Qualifications

  • Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in a Health Careers Program
  • Recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of 8 credits
  • Recipient must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA 
  • Recipients who are 25 years of age or older will be given preference
  • Recipients who are willing to work one full year in a local health care facility (hospital or nursing home) following graduation will be given preference
