David L. Froh Memorial Scholarship
David L. Froh was a charter member of the Board of Trustees of Lansing Community College and served on the board for over 20 years. During the early years of establishing and developing LCC, David’s leadership was crucial to LCC becoming a world-class leader in education.
To honor David’s heartfelt commitment to LCC and the Michigan community, David’s family, friends, and colleagues established an endowed scholarship for LCC students in his memory. This scholarship is a way of building upon David’s enthusiasm and hard work, which were so instrumental in creating an environment in which innovation and creativity have flourished at LCC. To reflect David’s vision of a community in which all would have equal opportunity for quality education, the scholarship is awarded to students in financial need who are committed to furthering the values of social justice and community service, in which David believed so strongly.
