LCC Honors Scholarship
The Honors Program Award is available to new LCC students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and plan on a two-year transfer curriculum before transferring to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Although students following a transfer curriculum may plan to earn a general associate, associate in arts, or associate in science degree, their primary objective in attending LCC is to complete general education courses and other required or recommended courses in preparation for transfer to a four-year college or university. Honors Program Award recipients automatically become members of the LCC Honors Program and must participate as a condition of the award. The Honors Program provides enriched courses, special academic advising services, community service options, and other enhanced learning opportunities for students capable of a special challenge in their educations.
