Colby Scholarship

The Colby’s are fom the Lansing area and believe education is important. While they were not blessed with children of their own, they want to help as many kids as possible and this fund is just one way. Lynn attended LCC and participated in a study abroad program (Japan). She has volunteered for the LCC Foundation and is an active member of the finance committee. As an engineer and a private pilot, Steve has interest in LCC’s aviation program.

Qualifications

• Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in a transfer program in a Business or Engineering
  Program at Lansing Community College,
• Recipients must carry a minimum of 6 credits.
• Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. 
• Recipients must be a graduate of either Portland High School or Grand Ledge High School
• Females who have minimal parental support will be given preference. 
• Financial need will be considered.
