Jane and Chuck Doty

Jane Pierce and her husband Chuck Doty established the LeRoy and Lois Henry Family Endowed Scholarship in 2008 to honor and memorialize Jane’s parents. LeRoy and Lois opened the first Burger King restaurant in Lansing in 1965. This became the family-owned business, H&H Restaurants, Inc., opening seven locations in the Lansing area. Lois was instrumental in establishing the Burger King franchise and worked at the Burger King restaurants alongside her husband.
