FIERF Forging Foundation

Established in 1961, the Forging Industry Educational and Research Foundation is a 501 ©(3) tax-exempt organization. Operating as a “supporting organization” to the Forging Industry Association (FIA), the Forging Foundation is building a pipeline of the best and brightest future employees of the forging industry.

The Forging Foundation funds industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engages students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to pursue careers in the forging supply chain.

Established in 2020, the Forging Foundation Scholarship was created to help LCC students to enter the forging industry.
